Welcome to my site, my name is David Barker, I am a 27 year old guy living in the south of England. This site is a creative outlet for my thoughts, views, artwork and interests.

What can you expect from this site?

My interests are varied to say the least; the business and the economy play a huge part in my life, therefore it is obvious (there I go!) that I write about my views and opinions on current affairs and the state of business in the world today.

Other interests include fine wines, photography, writing and graphic arts to name a few . I worked for two years as a professional wine taster, whilst my knowledge is good and I can certainly spot a Beaujolais from Barolo, I am by no means an expert. My other interests are mainly hobbies but from time to time I do enjoy writing about them.

Why ‘State the Obvious!’?

Take a look at the first article written on my blog, this is one of my favourite subjects, discussing interaction and communication. Being a sales person by trade I am continually searching for new ways to communicate with people for maximum effect. Again, you can expect me to share my views on this subject matter.
